We want our 学生 to understand how Branson will respond if a student discloses that they have been the victim of 性ual abuse. Read our Protocol for Responding to Suspected Sexual Abuse here.

• Branson 学生 in all grades (9-12) participate in lessons on 性ual abuse awareness and reporting as part of each level of the required 人类发展 课程. 
• 学生s also review these policies and work through scenario exercises in their advisory groups during the early part of the fall semester.
• Both encompass all four years of each student's journey at Branson.

为员工

• All Branson employees are required to undergo background checks as a condition of their employment, 包括 LiveScan fingerprinting.
• All employees (faculty, 工作人员, coaches) review Branson's 性ual misconduct policies annually in training sessions during the first month of school.
• New employees who begin mid-year also receive 边界政策 training within their first 30 days of employment.
• All Branson employees undergo mandated reporter training in the fall of each school year.
• Each employee is required to read and acknowledge the Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Law (P.C. 11166.5)每年.
• Employees receive training on prevention of 性ual harassment and abusive conduct every two years.

为志愿者

• All volunteers will receive training on Branson's policies and procedures before they are in regular contact with 学生.
• All visitors to campus must complete check-in through our 访问U system, which checks their identification against national 性 offender 记录 and other watch-lists to ensure that individuals with prior 记录 of 性ual assault or related crimes are not allowed entry to campus.

Over the course of this year, we have organized a series of 性ual abuse and 性ual harassment prevention 项目 for all segments of the community. Learn more about these plans here (and note that we are still finalizing a few dates and details).

的 Branson 的rapy Support Fund, 成立于2018年, is a service available to alumni who require reimbursement for therapy they receive relating to 性ual misconduct experienced as 学生 at Branson.
